The SAVI model combines four key elements—somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual—allowing students to learn actively and engage fully in the learning process. This approach not only creates variation in teaching methods but also helps students find learning methods that align with their individual learning styles. Through this structured approach, students are given the opportunity to develop their understanding through hands-on experiences, listening to explanations, seeing visual representations, and engaging in critical thinking activities. This research utilizes a literature study method to explore the effectiveness and applications of the SAVI Model. The findings reveal that implementing this model increases student motivation, promotes their engagement in class, and strengthens their understanding of learned concepts. Moreover, the model plays a crucial role in honing students’ critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills, which are essential competencies for student development in the modern era.</em></p> Syifa Kamilah Sophian, Rizka Rifaatul Hidayah, Alay Fia, Dini Safitri, Ade Suryanda Copyright (c) 2025 Syifa Kamilah Sophian, Rizka Rifaatul Hidayah, Alay Fia, Dini Safitri, Ade Suryanda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journal.yp3a.org/index.php/diajar/article/view/2751 Sat, 25 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Enhancing English Language Learning Through Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Challenges and the Future https://journal.yp3a.org/index.php/diajar/article/view/3344 <p><em>This study explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used in learning English and looks at its benefits and challenges. However, there are still some challenges, such as AI's difficulty understanding cultural situation, limited access to AI in some areas, privacy concerns, and the risk of students relying too much on technology instead of human interactions. This study use literature research to describe AI improve English learning, opportunities and challenges in using AI. This review showed that AI can make the future of English learning, helping teachers, policymakers, and researchers understand both its potential and its limits. The challenge in implementing the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Krian is that teachers prepare more media for learning. However, not all teachers are in the creative zone, but some teachers are still in the comfort zone so that learning still uses conventional media. In the implementation of the independent curriculum, there are 2 distinctive features, namely, differentiated learning and the project to strengthen the p5 Pancasila profile. Differentiated learning adapts several student learning needs, for example auditory, kinesthetic, and visual learning styles. In addition, there is a mistake in the P5 goal which should have focused on character development rather than the final product. Learning approaches can be used as a strategy to create an effective and inclusive learning environment. This research examines the optimization of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the context of 21st-century learning, with a focus on the importance of recognizing the cultural diversity of students. The condition of Indonesia's diversity presents both challenges and opportunities in the educational process. The diverse conditions of students present a challenge for educators in achieving equality in learning facilities. Thus, with the implementation of the CRT approach, it is expected to enhance student engagement, learning outcomes, and the creation of an inclusive learning climate. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, by searching and analyzing related literature from various academic sources over the past five years. Data analysis was conducted by reviewing several identified journals, followed by generalization for deeper analysis.
