The noise level of the diesel engine was 94.3 dB, and at a distance of about 5 meters from the sound source, the behavioral ducks were changed such as running from the farm area, decreased eating patterns, stunted growth, and reduced egg production. After replacing the diesel engine with a motor engine that did not produce noise (0 dB), there was a significant change in the condition of the ducks. Noise level testing used the Sound Meter Level application with a measuring distance of 1-12 meters from the alabio duck cage. The rice pounding machine and rice smoother with driving power have been modified with a diesel motor turned on simultaneously. The sound produced was measured every 1 meter for 30 seconds. The noise level produced was an average of 70.5 dB. The noise level produced has been significantly reduced, so with this condition, the behavior of the ducks began to change. The ducks no longer leave the farm area (pens and ponds), and the eating pattern increased significantly due to the loss of stress factors due to noise, which has a positive impact on growth acceleration. This program is expected to increase the productivity of eggs produced by ducks. This service shows that reducing noise levels has a positive effect on the welfare, growth, and productivity of Alabio ducks.
Meri Rahmi Dadan Heryada Wigenaputra Ade Ramdan Widya Prapti Pratiwi Sidik Permana Copyright (c) 2025 Meri Rahmi, Dadan Heryada Wigenaputra, Ade Ramdan, Widya Prapti Pratiwi, Sidik Permana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-05-25 2025-05-25 5 1 71 78 10.54259/pakmas.v5i1.3222 Pelatihan Penyusunan Modul Ajar Berbasis Literasi, Numerasi dan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi dengan Aplikasi Canva bagi MGMP IPA Kota Pematangsiantar https://journal.yp3a.org/index.php/pakmas/article/view/3223
Nowadays, technological developments affect learning methods, so training is needed in creating technology-based media. In the partner schools, this is evident through the limited creativity displayed by teachers and students in producing the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) with a local wisdom theme. Furthermore, schools face challenges in comprehending the steps required for P5 implementation, alongside difficulties in integrating technology within the project. The damage caused by these pests not only reduces crop yields but also increases farmers' dependence on chemical pesticides, which pose environmental risks. To address this issue, effective and environmentally friendly pest control methods are needed. One approach employed is the installation of Owl Houses (RUBUHA) as habitats for barn owls, natural predators of rodents. This community service program aims to optimize rodent pest control by installing RUBUHA on agricultural land. The activities involve students and the Alam Subur farmer group, including training on RUBUHA installation, facility maintenance, and monitoring its effectiveness in reducing rodent populations. Along with this trend, there was a growing need for software that could monitor the performance of remote employees, one of which was Aplikasi ABC. To increase the adoption of this software, a digital marketing strategy based on observation was implemented, where its effectiveness was analyzed using data obtained from various marketing channels. This activity focuses on several online marketing strategies applied to enhance engagement, conversion rates, and brand awareness. The initial goal of the digital marketing campaign was to achieve an engagement and click-through rate of 5% of total impressions. However, by the end of 2019, the achieved rate was only 2.35%, primarily due to factors such as low brand awareness, less appealing ad designs, and ineffective headlines that failed to capture the target audience’s attention. Additionally, the campaign aimed for a 10% monthly increase in impressions with a marketing budget of less than IDR 5,000,000 per month. The analysis results indicate that advertising costs, SEO optimization, and landing page content quality significantly influence engagement growth and user conversion rates. From this activity, it can be concluded that a more effective digital marketing strategy requires optimized audience targeting, improved ad design quality, and the utilization of more targeted marketing channels. Moreover, well-optimized websites and landing pages can enhance customer retention and support successful user acquisition. These findings can serve as a foundation for developing more effective digital marketing strategies in the future.
Ali Akbar Lubis Ronald Belferik Suminar Ariwibowo Riche Riche Yudhistira Adhitya Pratama Copyright (c) 2025 Ali Akbar Lubis, Ronald Belferik, Suminar Ariwibowo, Riche Riche, Yudhistira Adhitya Pratama https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-05-25 2025-05-25 5 1 304 313 10.54259/pakmas.v5i1.4195 Peningkatan Intensi Anak Magang untuk Bekerja di Hotel Aryaduta Medan https://journal.yp3a.org/index.php/pakmas/article/view/4129
The hospitality industry is growing rapidly, driven by global tourism and increasing service demand. Natural disasters not only have physical impacts, but also psychological ones, especially for children. A culturally based approach is considered relevant to restore children's emotional well-being contextually. This devotion used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews with 36 children, and questionnaires distributed to teachers and parents. The results showed that 88.9% of children preferred traditional games such as tug-of-war, tire racing, and cracker-eating competitions to modern games. These games, which are collaborative and competitive, help reduce stress, rebuild self-confidence, and restore social interaction. Around 83.3% of children were already familiar with these games before the disaster, making familiarity a key factor in fostering a sense of safety and comfort during the recovery process. Trauma symptoms—such as excessive sleepiness, fear, and sleep disturbances—remained, but play activities showed positive impacts. Furthermore, 97.5% of teachers supported the use of traditional games, indicating strong acceptance in the school environment. In addition to serving as an effective psychosocial intervention, traditional games also strengthen cultural identity and community resilience. These findings update and enrich previous research by offering a local context and a child-participatory approach. Thus, traditional games can serve as a strategic alternative for post-disaster trauma recovery in children.
Satya Gayatri Reniwati Reniwati Bahren Bahren Mery Ramadani Solfiyeni Solfiyeni Copyright (c) 2025 Satya Gayatri, Reniwati Reniwati, Bahren Bahren, Mery Ramadani, Solfiyeni Solfiyeni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-05-25 2025-05-25 5 1 342 350 10.54259/pakmas.v5i1.4241 Peningkatan Pendapatan Kemplang Marmus melalui Marketing Produk dan Pengelolaan Keuangan https://journal.yp3a.org/index.php/pakmas/article/view/4094
This community service is aimed at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Kemplang Marmus Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. Based on the problems above, a product marketing and financial knowledge training was carried out. The training was carried out in 2 stages, namely technical guidance starting from increasing knowledge of product packaging, designing logos on primary and secondary packaging. The activity was continued with a simulation of calculating the production cost for 1 3/4 kg package.
Eni Cahyani Efrina Masdain Bora Alviolesa M. In order to achieve success in learning, there needs to be a method that needs to be done, namely meaningful learning. Meaningful learning should utilize learning media. This is in contrast to the field study conducted at MI Bustanul Ulum. Teachers often apply direct learning models accompanied by explanation and assignment methods. Teachers also never use learning media, either digital-based or like teaching aids that can support the learning atmosphere. This is due to the lack of teacher knowledge and skills in developing learning media. For this reason, with this community service program, we plan to help overcome partner problems. There are 6 stages carried out, namely observation, socialization, workshops and FGDs, design training, media development, evaluation and mentoring. To find out the increase in teacher competence, the normalized gain formula is used which will then be grouped into improvement categories. This community service activity can improve teacher competence. The score for improving teachers' ability to understand digital media is 0.46; The score for improving teachers' ability to understand non-digital media is 0.56 and the score for improving teachers' skills in designing media is 0.40.
