Upaya Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru Era 4.0 di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur

Pendidikan berkualitas merupakan fondasi penting bagi pembangunan berkelanjutan, seperti yang ditekankan dalam Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), terutama pada tujuan keempat mengenai pendidikan inklusif dan berkualitas. Di era Revolusi Industri 4.0, pendidikan harus beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan teknologi dan meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik untuk membekali generasi muda dengan keterampilan masa depan. Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) telah mengadopsi Kurikulum K-13 dengan konsep Living Curriculum untuk menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan nyata siswa dan tantangan global. Meskipun telah menerapkan berbagai inovasi, SIKL menghadapi tantangan dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka yang baru, yang menawarkan fleksibilitas namun memerlukan penyesuaian dalam metode pengajaran dan evaluasi. Kesenjangan pengetahuan ini mengancam kualitas pendidikan dan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 siswa. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, tim dosen dari Universitas Negeri Surabaya melaksanakan Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan daring yang dibagi dalam tiga sesi: Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pemaparan model pembelajaran, dan teknik evaluasi. Melalui kegiatan PKM ditemukan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, dengan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 68 menjadi 86 dan peningkatan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi serta evaluasi berbasis data. Kegiatan ini berhasil memperkuat kompetensi guru, menjadikan mereka lebih siap untuk menghadapi tuntutan pendidikan global dan memajukan kualitas pengajaran di SIKL.
