Abstrak

Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas merupakan individu yang memasuki masa remaja akhir. Masa remaja ini merupakan tahapan dimana individu memutuskan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan atau akan memasuki dunia kerja. Siswa SMA seharusnya dapat mempersiapkan masa depan dengan baik, serta mengambil keputusan mengenai karir di masa depan. Namun, belum semua siswa dapat mempersiapkan dengan baik mengenai pilihan karir masa depan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa SMA PGRI 4 terkait pentingnya memiliki gambaran masa depan, menambah pengetahuan terkait apa yang harus dilakukan untuk merencanakan masa depan, informasi yang harus dimiliki dalam merencanakan masa depan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa terkait pentingnya keterlibatan dalam belajar dan strategi yang bisa digunakan untuk dapat menjalani proses belajar menjadi lebih efektif. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan ini ialah sebanyak 34 siswa, yang terdiri dari siswa kelas XI dan XII (laki-laki 23 orang; perempuan 11 orang). Pelaksanaan pelatihan terdiri dari penyampaian materi dari narasumber, dan diikuti dengan kegiatan pendampingan kelompok kecil. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan sikap dan pengetahuan siswa setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan mempersiapkan masa depan (meningkat dari 83% siswa). Selain itu, terdapat hasil yang signifikan pada posttest dan pretest peserta pelatihan (dengan nilai signifikan p<,001). Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan, diharapkan kepada guru dan siswa untuk dapat bersinergi dalam mempersiapkan masa depan siswa dengan persiapan yang lebih rinci, terarah, dan terukur dengan jelas.
