Upaya Pencapaian Herd Immunity melalui Aksi Cepat Tanggap Vaksinasi Covid -19 Dipoltekkes Sorong

Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden yang di tanda tanggani pada tanggal 6 Oktober 2020 tentang pengadaan vaksin dan pelaksanaan program vaksinasi untuk menanggulangi pandemi covid, maka secara serius pemerintah telah mempersiapkan program vasinasi secara matang terkait pendistibusiannya maupun pelaksanaanya. Vaksin adalah cara yang paling ekonomis dan efektif dalam mencegah penyakit menular termasuk covid-19. Tujuan kegiatan pengabmas untuk membantu program pemerintah dalam mempercepat pelaksanaan vaksinasi covid-19, maka diperlukan optimalisasi unit pelaksana teknis vertikal kementerian kesehatan termasuk Poltekkes dengan pencapaian target vaksinasi 1 juta dosis/ hari. Untuk itu sebagai seorang dosen, sebagai wujud implementasi tri darma perguruan tinggi terdorong ikut berperan aktif dalam kegiatan vaksinasi covid-19 sebagai wujud pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Metode kegiatan pelaksanaan secara langsung dilapangan dan penyuluhan. Lokasi kegiatan di sentra vaksinasi Poltekkes Kemenkes Sorong dengan sasaran seluruh masyarakat Kota Sorong dan Kabupaten Sorong yang belum mendapatkan vaksinasi.
