LICENSING
This page explains the terms under which articles published in Jurnal Sains Teknologi dan Sistem Informasi (SATESI) may be used, shared, and reused. Authors retain the copyright in their work, and articles are made available to readers under an open licence.
1. LICENCE
Articles published in SATESI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The licence applies to the article itself, but not to third-party material that is clearly identified as being excluded from it.
2. PERMITTED USE
Under CC BY 4.0, anyone may copy, share, and redistribute the licensed material in any medium or format, and may translate, adapt, and build upon it for any purpose, including commercial purposes. This covers educational reuse as well as text and data mining.
No further permission from the journal and no reuse fee is required for any use that the licence already allows. Adapted works do not have to be released under the same licence.
3. ATTRIBUTION AND CONDITIONS
Reuse is subject to the following conditions:
- Give appropriate credit, and keep the attribution, copyright, and licence notices that accompany the material.
- Provide a link to the CC BY 4.0 licence.
- Indicate whether changes were made, and keep any indication of earlier changes.
- Where reasonably practicable, include the citation of the article together with its DOI or a link to the source.
- Do not state or imply that the authors, the journal, or the publisher endorse you or your use of the material.
- Do not add legal terms or technological measures that prevent others from exercising the rights the licence grants.
Attribution may be given in any reasonable manner that suits the medium and the context of reuse. This summary does not add any condition beyond those of the licence itself.
4. SCOPE AND CONTINUITY
Third-party material. Some articles include figures, images, or other material from third parties. Check the credit line of such material, because it may be subject to separate terms.
Rights outside the licence. CC BY 4.0 does not necessarily grant patent, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights that fall outside its scope. Permission is not needed for uses that are allowed by an applicable legal exception or limitation, or where the material is in the public domain.
Corrected, retracted, or removed articles. A licence that has been granted is not revoked when an article is corrected, retracted, or taken off the website. Users must continue to follow the conditions of the licence.
Licence information. Licence information is shown on article pages and in publication files. Where an article was published under a different licence in the past, and that licence can be verified, the journal will continue to display it accurately. Updating this website does not automatically relicense earlier content.
5. AUTHORITATIVE TERMS
The legal code of CC BY 4.0 governs the licence, and this page is only a summary. Copyright identifies who owns an article, while intellectual property terms describe the permissions and exclusions that apply to its use. The full text of the licence is available at creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.
