Penguatan Institusi Kelompok Tani Hutan Kemasyarakatan Sedyo Makmur Paska Izin Usaha Tebang Kayu di Semanu, Kabupaten Gunungkidul

Kebijakan Hutan Kemasyarakatan (HKm) memberikan hak kepada Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) Sedyo Makmur untuk mengelola 115 Ha hutan negara dengan prinsip kelestarian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Program ini memungkinkan KTH menanam berbagai pohon, seperti mangga, sengon, mete, dan sirsak serta melakukan tumpang sari dan penebangan kayu setelah 15 tahun. Izin Usaha Pemanfaatan Hutan Kemasyarakatan (IUP HKm) diberikan pada 2007 hingga 2042, dengan tambahan Izin Usaha Pemanfaatan Hasil Hutan Kayu (IUP HHK HKm) pada 2019–2024. Namun, setelah berakhirnya IUP HHK HKm, KTH menghadapi beberapa kendala, termasuk lemahnya sistem manajerial dan administrasi, kesulitan menjalin kerja sama dengan pihak eksternal, serta ketidakmampuan mereboisasi 115 Ha hutan yang telah ditebang. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dirancang dua kegiatan utama, yaitu (1) edukasi dan pendampingan bagi KTH dalam tata kelola organisasi, administrasi, dan penguatan jejaring kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak, serta (2) pelatihan pembibitan dan pemberian berbagai jenis bibit guna mendukung upaya reboisasi. Diharapkan program ini dapat memperkuat kapasitas KTH dalam pengelolaan hutan secara berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota kelompok.
