PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan is published four times a year. The regular issues are scheduled for January, April, July, and October.
| Issue | Month of Publication |
|---|---|
| Issue 1 | January |
| Issue 2 | April |
| Issue 3 | July |
| Issue 4 | October |
Each calendar year forms one volume with four numbers, one for each regular issue. Volume 1 appeared in 2022, and a new volume begins every year with the January issue. The published issues are listed in the Archives.
Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year. After peer review, revision, final editorial evaluation, and production, an accepted manuscript is placed in a forthcoming issue.
Articles per Issue
The number of articles in each issue depends on the number of manuscripts that complete editorial evaluation and peer review. The capacity of an issue does not affect editorial decisions. A manuscript is selected for publication on the basis of the following:
Submission and Editorial Timeline
Submissions are open throughout the year, and editorial screening begins after a manuscript is submitted. The stages are as follows.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Submission and screening | A manuscript can be submitted at any time of the year. Editorial screening begins after the submission. |
| 2. Peer review and revision | The manuscript goes through peer review and revision, followed by the final editorial evaluation. |
| 3. Notification of acceptance | The notice of acceptance normally takes about 1 to 2 months. |
| 4. Production and publication | Publication follows production, when an accepted manuscript is assigned to a suitable upcoming issue. |
The period of 1 to 2 months is an estimate and not a guarantee. The time depends on the availability of reviewers, the complexity of the manuscript, the revisions that are required, and the number of review rounds.
Summary
