Sistem Informasi Pendistribusian dan Persediaan Gas Menggunakan Metode Distribution Requirement Planning

Perkembangan teknologi informasi pada saat ini telah berkembang sangat pesat sehingga mendorong berbagai instansi atau perusahaan menggunakan teknologi informasi untuk mendapatkan informasi yang berguna untuk memajukan usahanya. Namun dibalik kemajuan teknologi saat ini pengolahan data distribusi dan persediaan pada PT. Andalas Jaya Perkasa masih menggunakan Logbook atau manual. Dimana jika data tersebut sewaktu diperlukan harus mencari diantara tumpukan data Sehingga sulit untuk melakukan pencarian data karena banyaknya data yang tercecer, dan proses penyimpanan data yang belum terkomputerisasi hal ini menyebabkan sering terjadinya kehilangan data, disamping itu PT. Andalas Jaya Perkasa sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi permintaan pelanggan yang mengakibatkan tidak efisiennya manajamen persediaan, hal ini dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kelebihan atau kekurangan stok, kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada penurunan layanan pelanggan. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka penulis membangun sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi pendistribusian dan persediaan gas menggunakan metode distribution requirement planning dan didukung menggunakan strategi supply chain management untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada pelanggan di PT. Andalas Jaya Perkasa secara optimal.
