Declining dynamic balance in the elderly population significantly contributes to an increased risk of falls, ultimately limiting their independence in performing daily functional tasks. Optimal postural stability in older adults can be maintained through exercise interventions focusing on muscle strengthening and balance stimulation systems. This study focused on dynamic balance in the elderly, comparing the effectiveness of two interventions: Calf Raise Exercises (CRE) and Single Leg Stand Exercises (SLSE). Involving 30 elderly participants selected via purposive sampling, the study employed a quantitative, quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre-test and post-test structure. Participants were evenly divided into two groups of 15 to undergo different interventions: the first group performed Calf Raise Exercises (CRE), while the second group performed Single Leg Stand Exercises (SLSE). The intervention lasted four weeks, with a schedule of three sessions per week. The Timed Up and Go Test (TUGT) was used to measure dynamic balance, and the results were analyzed using parametric tests. The CRE intervention reduced the mean TUGT duration from 17.43 seconds to 13.99 seconds, while the SLSE intervention resulted in a reduction from 19.00 seconds to 14.98 seconds. Both treatment methods demonstrated a statistically significant impact on dynamic balance (p < 0.001). A between-group comparison also revealed a statistically significant difference in effects (p = 0.012). Both exercise methods proved effective in improving dynamic balance among the elderly; however, SLSE demonstrated a more significant mean improvement, making it a strong candidate for inclusion in physiotherapy programs aimed at maintaining postural stability and reducing the risk of fall-related injuries
