The focus and scope of Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran, abbreviated as DIAJAR, cover empirical research as well as theoretical and conceptual reviews in the field of education and teaching at all levels, including primary schools, secondary schools, and higher education. Contributions from other settings, such as early childhood, vocational, and nonformal education, are also welcome. The journal invites manuscripts that examine curriculum development, instructional design, teaching and learning strategies, learning media and educational technology, assessment and evaluation, teacher education and professional development, educational leadership and management, inclusive education, and character education. The scope is not limited to these levels and topics, and it also includes other relevant research in the field of education.
Studies may use quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods, and may also take the form of classroom action research, development research, or systematic literature reviews. The journal gives priority to work that is original, methodologically sound, and relevant to educational practice, so that its findings can support teachers, lecturers, school leaders, and policy makers. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English. DIAJAR is published four times a year, in January, April, July, and October, by Yayasan Pendidikan Penelitian Pengabdian Algero, and all articles are freely available in open access.
